A brand new PlayStation 5 demo is available now for free, for one of the more highly anticipated adventure games of the year.

According to a new post on social media from developers Wishfully Games, Planet of Lana II, the upcoming sequel to 2023’s Planet of Lana, has a new demo out now. The demo allows players to get a brief look at the upcoming puzzle-platformer. Check out a brief trailer for the demo and game below:
The original Planet of Lana was released in 2023, and is inspired by other cinematic platformers of its kind like Inside. The game drew immediate praise from fans for having a similar visual style to that of the Studio Ghibli movies, and for its storytelling, sound design, and more. The game follows the story of a teenage girl named Lana and her cat-like companion Mui, as they explore a world invaded by aliens.
Planet of Lana II, formally titled Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf, was first announced last year at an Xbox showcase. The new game seems to feature a litany of new environments, including large forests, icy tundras, the ocean depths, and more. The game is set to officially release on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 5, 2026.
