Forza Horizon 6 is Apparently Launching on May 19th, According to Alleged Pop-up in Forza Horizon 5

Outside of a one-in-a-million fumble on Playground Games’ part, Forza Horizon 6 is already looking to be a hit, and we haven’t even seen any gameplay. A proper reveal is coming next week at the Xbox Developer_Direct, but it seems the release date may have leaked early.

Xbox Infinite on Twitter recently shared an image that allegedly popped up in Forza Horizon 5 that invites players to pre-order Forza Horizon 6 (with a Ferrari J50 offered as a bonus). It’s apparently launching on May 19th, but purchasing the Premium Edition will net four days of early access. Other benefits include the VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, two Premium expansions, and the Italian Passion Car Pack (both seemingly out after launch).

Aside from the Time Attack Car Pack, this also seems relatively on par with what its predecessor offered. However, there are apparently more than 550 cars at launch (up from Forza Horizon 5’s 500+). It also touts this as “Forza Horizon’s biggest open world driving adventure yet,” which Playground Games claimed back in September 2025.

When prompted about how they made this image appear in-game, the user claimed it was after leaving their garage and before delivering their car. Take this with a grain of salt, but besides the other details, the release would align with rumors about a launch in the first half of this year. Regardless, we’ll likely find out the truth on January 22nd so stay tuned.
