Fortnite’s V-Bucks prices will go up starting March 19

Epic Games has announced changes for V-Bucks packs. Fortnite’s virtual currency will become pricier starting March 19, 2026, across all platforms.

In its article, Epic justifies its decision by explaining that “the cost of operating Fortnite has increased significantly.” Thus, the American company is asking players to “help us pay the bills.”

While the prices themselves will not change, the contents of the packs will be reduced. Each offer will therefore contain fewer V-Bucks.

  • €8.99 pack: 800 V-Bucks instead of 1,000 V-Bucks (+€1.79 in return)
  • $22.99 pack: 2,400 V-Bucks instead of 2,800 V-Bucks (+$4.59 in return)
  • $36.99 pack: 4,500 V-Bucks instead of 5,000 V-Bucks (+$7.39)
  • $89.99 bundle: 12,500 V-Bucks instead of 13,500 V-Bucks (+$17.99 in return)
  • Exact Amount bundle: $0.99 for 50 V-Bucks instead of approximately $0.50 for 50 V-Bucks

In addition, the Battle Pass will now cost 800 V-Bucks and will also grant 800 V-Bucks upon completion. Previously, it cost 1,000 V-Bucks and granted 1,000 V-Bucks upon completion.

The OG Pass will be set at 800 V-Bucks (down from 1,000 previously), the Music Pass at 1,200 V-Bucks (down from 1,400), and the LEGO Pass at 1,200 V-Bucks (down from 1,400). Finally, the amount of V-Bucks offered to Fortnite Club subscribers will be reduced from 1,000 to 800.
