Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, has announced some very good news for players who want to enjoy Fortnite to the fullest on their mobile devices.
In recent years, a major conflict between Epic and Google and Apple led to the removal of the battle royale game from the online stores of the two tech industry giants. Fortunately, things are changing.
Google is now allowing competing app stores and payment systems. In addition, a reduction in fees for developers offering their apps on Google Play will be applied.
Sweeney wasted no time in stating that these measures will allow Fortnite to return directly to the Google Play Store in the near future. For now, the game is only available through the Epic Games app.
