Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite first launched all the way back in 2017. The game originally came with a PvE Save the World campaign, but skyrocketed in popularity through its Battle Royale mode, where 100 players compete to be the last one standing on an island. What sets it apart from other games in the genre is its building mechanic, which allows players to construct walls, ramps, and forts during combat.
