Square Enix has revealed new quality-of-life improvements coming to Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. This modernized version of the legendary tactical RPG will be released on September 30, 2025.
Three difficulty levels will be added: Squire (easy), Knight (normal), and Tactician (higher difficulty, similar to the original). The visuals have also been improved, as has the user interface.
Players will have the option to flee random battles, fast-forward through encounters, and replay combat moves. An auto-save system is also present.
