Fast & Furious director will bring the Helldivers universe to life in upcoming movie

Heinlein’s Starship Troopers, a hilarious action film where battles against giant bugs are punctuated with propaganda-packed ads. Arrowhead Game Studios’ third-person shooter Helldivers 2perfectly captured the film’s tone with its cinematics and missions, where soldiers protect Super Earth from bugs by invading their planets. Now the inspiration-to-adaptation cycle is coming full circle, with Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions working on a Helldivers film.
