All great things come to an end, including the PlayStation Store’s Holiday Sale, which has gone on far beyond the holiday season. Regardless, it has brought amazing prices to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games the digital storefront has to offer. That includes this open-world RPG from a beloved Bethesda franchise.
Fallout 4 is $4.99 on the PS Store
Developed and published by Bethesda, Fallout 4 is just $4.99 on the PS Store. That is a 75% discount off its usual $19.99 price tag. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on January 22 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Here is a trailer and description of Fallout 4, giving players a glimpse of what to expect when they begin their adventure in the Wasteland:
“You are the sole survivor of Vault 111, emerging into a world reduced to ash by nuclear war. Every moment is a battle for survival, every decision shapes the future. Rebuild, reshape, and reclaim the Wasteland—your way.”
When Fallout 4 was originally released in 2015, it received favorable reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 87 across 58 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it an 8 out of 10.
“Performance issues late in the game caused a few frustrations but not enough to dissuade me from playing further and certainly never impeding my progress. Simplifying certain gameplay elements allows for the addition and expansion of others, and while I may not care for the settlement portion of the game, Fallout 4 still has plenty to keep me interested with its countless stories from the wasteland,” reads our review.
