Fallout 4: The Order of The Third Eye is a Chilling New Free Quest

Fallout 5 isn’t set to land any time soon, but there are plenty of ways via which you can extend the Fallout 4 experience.

A quick trip on over to NexusMods and you’ll unearth a wealth of fan-made content, allowing you to add new weapons, NPCs, map locations, and even quests to the game.

It can be difficult to know where to begin so I’m here to help out by highlighting a fantastic new quest mod.

If you own Fallout 4 on PC, I heartily suggest that you check out ‘CSEP Presents – The Order Of The Third Eye’ from the Commonwealth Story Expansion Project team.

Already trending, the mod sees the player tasked with putting a stop to a deadly cult that has surfaced in the Commonwealth. Interesting.

In total, it should take you 30 to 40 minutes to complete the quest which is pretty hefty for a fan creation.

There are “four distinct dungeons” to tackle, each with their own combat encounters and puzzles whilst new cultist robes, weapons, and enemies have also been added.

There’s original music, voice acting, “secrets to uncover”, as well as a few “spooks and scares”.

Halloween may be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean we need to leave our love of all things spooky behind.

This isn’t a quest for Fallout 4 newbies

‘CSEP Presents – The Order Of The Third Eye’ begins near Bunker Hill and is automatically triggered when the player nears the dungeon entrance.

You can take it on at any time although the quest’s creators don’t exactly recommend it for newbies, adding that you should stock up on meds and ammo beforehand.

Essentially, you’ll need a decent level of competency.

It’s also recommended that you don’t try the quest whilst over-companioned.

All in all, it sounds like a treat – and by all accounts, the mod is already proving popular with those who have tried it.

“Fun mod! I am all about the spookies. Great atmosphere and design. Fit perfectly in with my usual scary mod list. Great job guys!” wrote one player.

“Love this mod. The atmosphere is great and it doesn’t even feel like Fallout!” added another.

“I loved this short little dungeon quest! Adored it very much,” read another comment.

So if you have access to Fallout 4 on PC and you’re not afraid of a couple of scares, it seems that this quest mod is definitely worth your time.
