McFarlane Toys, creators of super fancy and rather pricey premium collectables, have seemingly confirmed a remaster of Fallout 3.
A listing on BroDepot for a Nuka Cola bottle is listed as “CFARLANE ELITE EDITION 7IN – FALLOUT 3 REMASTERED – #13 T-45B NUKA COLA”

The product has a release date of 31st August 2026 and one would assume that the collectable would be released close to the time of the Remaster.
Bethesda have not announced Fallout 3 Remastered, but there have been many rumours and leaks that it is being developed. Most notably, it was listed in the  FTC v. Microsoft, lawsuit, although back then, it had a release date of 2024 which clearly never happened. The recent remaster of Oblivion sold very well. Fallout 4 can still be played on current-gen consoles, so Fallout 3 seems the obvious choice to remaster next.
The success of the Fallout TV show on Amazon has also helped bring the franchise back to the fore. Season 2 ended at the start of February, and Amazon is set to start filming season 3 at the start of May, with an expected release sometime near the end of 2027.
Fun Fact: One of my first jobs at TSA was to review every piece of Fallout 3 DLC, one after another.
Our original Fallout 3 review from 2008 is still online. “What is slightly worrying is the buggy nature of the game,” said our reviewer, perhaps understating things a little. “Don’t let this put you off too much, though, Fallout 3 is a wonderful game for fans of the genre. It’s humourous when it wants to be, yet also deep and worryingly tragic when required to be. For fans of the previous games wary of what Bethesda would do to their beloved series this is a godsend even if it’s not really a true sequel in every sense of the word, and for anyone wanting something to last them through the Winter this is a must-have. ”
