Clair Obscur, Ghost of Yotei, and Blue Prince led the pack
Sandfall Interactive’s RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 continues to dominate the awards circuit, picking up the most trophies at the 29th DICE Awards. The annual ceremony has the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) highlighting the best from the games industry in 2025, with the body also recognizing Ghost of Yotei, Blue Prince, and a wide array of other hit titles.
Expedition 33 took home five awards, including the coveted Game of the Year honor, while Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei nabbed three, including awards for music composition and Adventure Game of the Year. Both Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Blue Prince won two awards each, while other titles recognized included Mario Kart World, Arc Raiders, and Hades II.
The ceremony, once again co-hosted by Greg Miller and Stella Chung, also honored former Naughty Dog president Evan Wells, inducting him into the AIAS Hall of Game for his “decades-long contributions to game development and leadership.”
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 continues its streak of winning the most Game of the Year titles, having won the honor at The Game Awards 2025 and the Golden Joystick Awards. It’s up for Game of the Year and multiple other categories at the upcoming Game Developers Choice Awards. The title also emerged as GameSpot’s Game of the Year for 2025.
