The Game Developers Conference is coming this March in San Francisco, and the event also includes the Game Developers Choice Awards. This year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads the way with eight total nominations, including a nod for Game of the Year.
Other games nominated for Game of the Year this year include Blue Prince, Donkey Kong Bananza, Ghost of Yotei, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Split Fiction.
Expedition 33 also picked up nominations for Best Visual Art, Best Narrative, and Best Technology, among others.
The nominees and winners will be chosen by the Game Developers Choice Awards’ International Choice Awards Network. This is a private organization made up of “leading game creators.”
The Game Developers Choice Awards will take place on Wednesday, March 11, and it will be streamed live.
Expedition 33 took home the overall Game of the Year at The Game Awards. It was also GameSpot’s Game of the Year.
