Exclusive: Watch a magical clip from a new animated movie now in theaters

The French-Belgian co-production Little Amélie or the Character of Rain slipped into theaters quietly, as so many animated movies not coming from Disney or DreamWorks do. But there are good reasons to watch it on a big screen before it slips back out again. The film, which won the Audience Award at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival, has been widely praised as a gorgeous movie with a good chance of showing up in the running come Academy Award season.
