Slay the Spire 2 has been available in early access on PC since Thursday, March 5, and is off to a flying start on Steam. The initial figures for Mega Crit’s roguelike deckbuilder are simply impressive.
Slay the Spire 2 peaked at 282,314 concurrent players on Valve’s platform. That number is expected to climb as the hours go by. Suffice it to say that the record set by the first game, with 57,025 users connected at the same time, has been smashed.
In terms of reviews, the game has received “overwhelmingly positive” ratings on Steam, with 97% of the 6,053 reviews posted online being favorable.
