Announced earlier this week, the new Restored Land update for Dying Light: The Beast has just arrived on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Owners of the game can download it for free.
It’s also worth noting that the base game has been officially renamed Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land on online stores. Players will now have access to a new, even more challenging game mode. Killed zombies no longer respawn, and the entire map can be cleared so that humanity can reclaim it.
Resources are now much more limited as well, since loot doesn’t respawn either. Your character must also manage hunger and flashlight battery levels. Finally, a permanent death option (which deletes the save file upon your character’s first death) is available.
Finally, the update adds 33 additional side quests, vehicle challenges, new execution moves, and technical improvements.

Exciting news about the Restored Land update for Dying Light: The Beast! It’s always great to see new content being added to keep the game fresh and engaging. Looking forward to what this update brings!
It’s definitely exciting! The new Restored Land update seems to offer some fresh gameplay mechanics that could really enhance the experience. I’m curious to see how the new environments will impact strategies in the game!
