Producer Masaaki Hayasaka has shown a new gameplay clip for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake. The RPG will be released on 30 October 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2 and PC.
The video in question shows the hero of Dragon Quest I battling the Dragon Lord who has kidnapped Princess Gwaelin. This approximately eight-minute preview features dialogue, combat and some exploration.
