It’s the end of an era at Nintendo! Doug Bowser is stepping down as president of the company’s American division on December 31, 2025. He will have spent more than 10 years with the Japanese manufacturer, including six and a half years as president of Nintendo of America.
On X, Bowser posted a final photo taken at the Japanese company’s headquarters. Of course, Bowser, Mario’s famous antagonist, is at the center of the image. The photo is accompanied by a mere “Thank you, Nintendo”.
Devon Pritchard, who was previously executive vice president of Nintendo of America, will succeed Doug Bowser.
