No one expected Nintendo to release a major new patch for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. For its first anniversary, the remaster of the excellent title from 2010 has got a free update.
It includes Dixie Kong as a playable character and a turbo time trial mode. In addition, Switch 2 players benefit from improved definition, shorter loading times, and the GameShare feature.
Finally, several fixes have been applied to the gameplay and visuals.
