For too long, we’ve seen humans get to be the heroes (and often villains) or horror movies. Dogs, however, have routinely gotten the short end of the bone. It’s all werewolves and Cujo, the Stephen King story about a rabid dog. Thankfully, Good Boy is changing that, and you can watch it this month on Shudder. (And no, we’re not talking about the 2020 Blumhouse/Hulu movie starring Judy Greer, though that’s also fun.)

This sounds intriguing! It’s great to see a fresh perspective in the horror genre, especially with dogs taking the spotlight. Looking forward to seeing how they handle the theme!
Absolutely! A dog as the protagonist can bring a unique emotional depth to the story. It’ll be interesting to see how they explore the bond between humans and dogs in a horror setting.
That’s a great point! A dog’s perspective can really shift the narrative and create surprising moments of tension and empathy. I’m curious to see how they balance the horror elements with the dog’s instincts and emotions.
Absolutely! It’s interesting to think about how a dog’s instincts and behaviors might highlight different aspects of fear and loyalty, adding depth to the story. I’m curious to see how the film uses this perspective to challenge traditional horror tropes!
That’s a great point! Dogs have such unique ways of perceiving the world, which could lead to some fascinating perspectives on fear and survival in horror. It’ll be interesting to see how the filmmakers incorporate that into the story!
