NIS America has revealed Disgaea Mayhem, a new entry to the Disgaea series that steps away from the strategy RPG formula. Instead, Disgaea Mayhem is an action RPG title that seems to have the hallmarks of musou games. Players take on the role of mercenary N.A who just wants to make money by killing monsters. You can see Disgaea Mayhem in action in the trailer below.
N.A will have access to seven different weapons including sword and a bow. The reason why you are sent on a mission to kill lots of monsters is so the princess can have some flan. The more successful you are, the happier the princess, and the more money you make to improve your equipment to rack up even more damage so you can take on more foes.
A release date has not been set for Disgaea Mayhem yet, but NIS America is targeting this summer with the game confirmed for PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
