Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle won’t be streaming anytime soon as it makes IMAX history in Japan

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle may not be getting an Academy Awards nod this year (honors go to KPop Demon Hunter), but one of the highlight films of 2025 is still being celebrated in its native Japan, becoming the first anime to receive the IMAX treatment in the country. Although the film was released last Summer, Infinity Castle is returning to theaters in Japan with an extended 1.43:1 aspect ratio, which probably means fans are still a ways away from the film coming home to digital, and potentially even longer for it to hit streaming services.
