Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is Likely Bound for PC, According to New ESRB Rating

Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach isn’t even a year old, and a PC version is already seemingly in the works. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) recently listed it for Windows PC with an “M” for Mature 17+ rating.

What makes it all the more interesting is that Sony Interactive Entertainment is the company specified. The original Death Stranding was published by 505 Games for PC and Xbox Series X/S. While Kojima Productions has full ownership of the IP, it may have chosen to stick with Sony for the PC release. Maybe the latter has pooled its resources to facilitate a port.

Either way, if a rating has emerged, then PC players won’t have to wait long to get their hands on it. An announcement at The Game Awards on December 11th (where it’s nominated in multiple categories) or even a shadow drop before then is possible, so stay tuned.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is currently exclusive to PC. Check out our review, where we gave it a ten out of ten.
