Anyone who knows me knows I take character creation in RPGs very, very seriously. I’m not talking about optimizing builds or picking the perfect perks, I’m talking about creating my player-character’s physical appearance with obsessive precision. I’m a big fan of games that allow me to really bring my character to life via small details like eyeliner, tattoos, hair highlights, and even nail art. I’ll often spend upwards of three or four hours in character creation, painstakingly crafting my ideal in-game avatar. There’s only one problem: After I leave character creation, I usually can’t get back in.
