Mintrocket has announced that the In the Jungle DLC for Dave the Diver will launch on 18th June for both PC and consoles, expanding the game with new freshwater diving, more minigames and new characters to meet.
In the Jungle sees Dave diving into new territory, heading to the jungle village of Utara where time flows in real-time and with a new restaurant to stock.
Dave will go diving underwater, gather fruits and resources, while building relationships with the locals by completing quests. The freshwater lake of Blue Hole is the new diving location, with new aquatic life, possible cuisine, and (of course) new dangers. To help his ventures, Dave’s now got the Jungle Gun, which can transform into net guns, shotguns, snipers, or regular guns.
This all helps to boost the new Bancho Grill restaurant with a fully cooked freshwater menu. In this restaurant, Dave can now move around more freely and sever customers in multiple areas instead of along a single plane.
Also announced today is the upcoming release of a Dave the Diver physical edition for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, in partnership with Silver Lining Direct. The Dave the Diver Collector’s Edition will feature all the DLC up to and including In the Jungle on a single disc or cartridge, in addition to some physical goodies:
