Moon Beast Productions, founded by several veterans of Diablo and Diablo 2, has revealed a new game called Darkhaven this week. It will be released on PC at an unknown date and will undergo a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter.
Darkhaven is an isometric action RPG set in a dark fantasy universe that aims to reconnect “with the roots of the genre while propelling it into the future with a persistent and fully dynamic world”. Players will explore a procedurally generated open world with completely destructible environments. The game can be played solo or in multiplayer mode.
The goal is to give players total freedom, with persistent, interconnected realms that offer greater flexibility. Finally, Darkhaven will also feature tactical combat and builds enhanced by rare items.
