Cyberpunk 2077 Player Drops Free Remaster, Sight to Behold

This Cyberpunk 2077 free fan-made remaster looks so good that, amazingly, it’s not an official CD Projekt RED release.

Despite its woeful launch in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is now one of the best sci-fi RPGs of all time, in my opinion, as reflected by its 86 Metacritic score. Granted, we could have done without the hot mess that was the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch versions.

Thankfully, when the long-awaited free new-gen update for Cyberpunk 2077 arrived in February 2022, the sci-fi RPG took a huge step in becoming the game that CD Projekt RED had promised all those years ago. Sure, it never solved the last-gen issues, but it was at least one step in the right direction.

Cyberpunk 2077 is One of the Best, Now

“Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure RPG set in the dark future of Night City — a dangerous megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and ceaseless body modification,” reads the synopsis of the game.

While Cyberpunk 2077 looks natively stunning on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as the Nintendo Switch 2, this fan-made remaster on PC takes it to a whole new level.

The remaster in question was showcased on the YouTube channel, Digital Dreams. It’s worth mentioning that while you don’t have to pay anything directly to download this remaster, you will need to support Digital Dreams on Patreon, which also opens up the door to tons more free modded remasters at no extra cost.

Cyberpunk 2077 Looks Extra Gorgeous!

To say that the recent gameplay video uploaded to the Digital Dreams YouTube channel is stunning would be an understatement. Which should come as no surprise, considering that it’s powered by a beast of a gaming PC with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, all in a glorious 8K resolution, with a super-smooth framerate and added ray tracing enhancements.

“Still the best-looking game in 2025. You made it look incredible,” said Lorenzoilmagnifico1445, in the YouTube comments section.

“This is incredible, props!” replied PROWLERAK.

“Damn, that Lamborghini … I’m getting nostalgic,” exclaimed shinyreshades4653.

“Waiting for Where Winds Meet,” declared Shiftto5thGear

Hopefully, along with its immense replay value, as well as the Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 should keep us entertained until Cyberpunk 2 is eventually released. We’ll keep you posted when that information drops.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2.
