CD Projekt RED is one of the most generous studios out there; every time it tells fans it’s done with the game for good, another surprise update drops bringing with it tons of new features.
The latest update, for example, made improvements and adjustments to Photo Mode and the game’s recently added AutoDrive mechanics.
While you shouldn’t expect anything to land in the way of another official DLC, I’d be very surprised if that was it now on the update front.

‘Immersive V Dialogue Expanded’ by NexusMods user skyrayfox isn’t a revolutionary mod, but it does make some subtle welcomed changes that reflect the types of adjustments we see devs make themselves.
This mod is all about boosting immersion by adding a ton of new voice lines for V, both male and female.
“No more mute V! V now talks during combat, while driving, looting, being hurt, hacking devices, performing actions, and more,” the description reads.
“Johnny might also pop in from time to time to share his advice (whether you like it or not) and you can even respond!”
If you’re wondering how the creator achieved this whilst using the OG voice actors, the mod actually recycles a ton of voice lines from the base game, simply adapting them to also be used in suitable open-world scenarios.
It’s a clever little adjustment that I’m honestly surprised CD Projekt RED hasn’t done itself.

This mod has been tested with the recent Patch 2.31, so you don’t need to worry about a lack of compatibility.
It utilises over 200 voice lines and you can adjust the frequency of the modded voice lines via the mod menu.
As I said, this works with both male and female V; the only catch is it’s only available in the English language.
