Cyberpunk 2077 Free Fan Download Breathes New Life Into Night City

Cyberpunk 2077 players who may wish to spruce up how alive Night City feels should check out this mod.

Five years on from the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, and CD Projekt RED has spent a lot of time and effort getting the game to where it is now.

That original launch was borked for many reasons, but most fans would agree that it’s now in a place where the game can now live up to what was originally promised.

Even taking that into account though, there are many aspects of Cyberpunk 2077, particularly in its depiction of Night City, that fans agree could still be improved upon.

That’s where the Factions Evolved mod comes in, which aims to improve how traffic in Night City works to make everything feel much more authentic.

Factions Evolved Makes Factions In Cyberpunk 2077 Feel More Unique and Evolved

Okay, so to start with, Factions Evolved is actually an add-on for Night City Traffic Overhaul. That’s a mod which adds district-based traffic such as gang vehicles to their turf, taxis, buses, Delamain, police and more, and even includes support for modded vehicles.

Factions Evolved takes that further, though, by integrating various standalone modded vehicles into specific faction traffic pools.

It should mean that the repetition of seeing the same vanilla vehicles over and over again is gone, with most of these vehicles being distributed between certain factions and districts only. It’ll also mean faction presence feels truly unique and evolved, as opposed to generic and repeated.

These additions are lore-friendly, meaning there shouldn’t be any changes here that don’t conflict with what we’re told about each faction, and they shouldn’t really feel out of place either.

The mod seamlessly integrates with the logic dictated by Night City Traffic Overhaul, which means that these cars will spawn naturally in traffic and during faction encounters.

You’ll need to have some modded vehicles installed, of course, and the mod’s creator ApoKrytia has included some information regarding compatibility.

You’ll need to go and grab those mods for them to appear in-game, otherwise the mod won’t work. However, once you’ve got it all up and running, the mod should behave rather nicely with all the different vehicles installed.

Factions Evolved also includes an optional integration powered by the Claim Vehicles mod, which allows you to keep the vehicles you steal. It should mean you can expand your garage with unique faction rides that you grab off the streets.
