A controversial PS5, PS4 game has been removed from the PS Store after turning heads because of its content. Sonyâs online storefront is no stranger to shovelware (now commonly referred to as âAI slopâ) and scams, but OF Model Simulator was a little too egregious even for seasoned PS Store users.
PS5, PS4 game OF Model Simulator turned some heads before being delisted from PS Store
We donât think this needs an explanation, but for those who really arenât aware, OF refers to OnlyFans â a subscription service popular for pornography and sexually explicit material. OF Model Simulator allowed players to play a pretend OF model.
âYour journey begins as an ordinary girl with big dreams of fortune and fame,â a description reads. âIn OF Model Simulator, youâll experience the thrill, challenges, and temptations of becoming a top web model on the worldâs most talked-about private platform.â
There are quite a few gameplay videos on the web for those who are curious.
Dozens of threads popped up on gaming forums questioning Sonyâs promised âimprovementsâ to the PS Store and the continued lack of moderation. But as spotted by PSNProfiles users, OF Model Simulator is no longer purchasable on the PS Store. It was quietly nuked sometime over the last few days.
That said, a brand-new scam has just hit the PS Store, and itâs already managed to con players out of their money. A fake version of the popular PC game Megabonk landed on the PS Store under the title Megabonk Smash. The imitation is still available for purchase at the time of this writing.
One step forward, two steps backwards!
