The most important ceremonies honoring the best games of 2025 are now behind us. And if there’s one title that everyone seems to have agreed on, it’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Neat and Angie, who are well-known members of ResetEra, revealed that Sandfall Interactive’s game won 334 Game of the Year (or GOTY) awards out of a possible 489 in 2025. This puts it in second place among the most awarded titles in history in this category, with only Elden Ring doing better with 435 awards.
In 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is second with 31 GOTY awards, Hollow Knight: Silksong third with 19, and Death Stranding 2 fourth with 15 awards.
