With 12 nominations, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had already set a record for The Game Awards. Now that the ceremony is over, Sandfall Interactive’s title has achieved yet another feat.

By winning no fewer than nine awards, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become the most awarded game in the history of the ceremony. Until now, the record was for The Last of Us Part II with seven awards.
