Gamers and professionals in the video game industry alike were shocked by the announcement of the closure of Bluepoint Games, which will result in around 70 people loosing their jobs.
Of course, a wave of solidarity has swept through the gaming sector, condemning Sony’s decision and offering alternatives to the employees. CI Games intends to recruit several talented developers.
On X, Marek Tyminski, founder and CEO of CI Games, posted a message with the aim of hiring people from the studio to work on Lords of the Fallen 2. Given that Bluepoint Games created the remake of Demon’s Souls, these potential new members will have all the expertise needed to work on this sequel to the excellent Lords of the Fallen.
