There’s a lot of buzz surrounding the God of War franchise. During its latest State of Play, Sony shadowdropped God of War Sons of Sparta and also announced a remake of the original trilogy.
In addition, at a convention, a YouTuber named Fuzhpuzy discussed the franchise with Christopher Judge, who plays Kratos in the 2018 installment and God of War Ragnarök. He initially revealed that God of War Trilogy Remake will feature a revamped combat system, new technologies, and additional content. TC Carson, the original voice of Kratos, will also be playing the Spartan warrior in this collection.
Judge didn’t stop there, however, as he also revealed that the project he is currently working on with Santa Monica Studios will be announced at the end of next summer. It is likely to be another God of War game, possibly set in Egypt.
At this point, it’s difficult to know whether Christopher Judge has said too much or whether he’s just making assumptions (particularly regarding the elements of God of War Trilogy Remake). Actors who are part of a video game’s cast are not necessarily informed of the studio’s announcement schedule, so we advise caution here.
