ASUS had no shortage of announcements at CES 2026, with news across the entire Zenbook lineup, including the all-new Zenbook DUO.
First up, if you have read any ASUS news in the last while, you’ll know the word Ceraluminum. The company is bringing their signature material across the entire Zenbook lineup for the first time.Â
The highlight of ASUS’s CES 2026 Zenbook announcements is the Zenbook DUO. Dual-screen laptops remain a visual standout, and ASUS has redesigned the DUO with a new hinge mechanism. The device features two seamless Lumina Pro OLED panels with peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. The 2026 Zenbook DUO is powered by a next-generation Intel Core Ultra series processor, code-named Panther Lake. It can be configured with optional Intel Arc graphics, up to 32 GB of RAM, as much as 2 TB of storage and a 99 Wh battery.
Despite those specifications, the laptop weighs just 1.65 kilograms, thanks to its Ceraluminum construction. ASUS also includes a magnetic Bluetooth keyboard, a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, ASUS Pen 3.0 support and a wide selection of ports, positioning the device for a range of professional and creative workflows.

This year’s DUO delivers up to 50 TOPS of neural processing unit performance and uses a dual-fan cooling system capable of handling up to 45 W of thermal design power. The device is aimed at heavy multitaskers and creators, with full Copilot+ PC support. While it has not yet been tested, the 2026 ASUS Zenbook DUO signals where laptop productivity is heading.
The Zenbook 14 also sees several updates and is available in both Intel and AMD configurations. The AMD model, the UM3406, is powered by the Ryzen AI 400 Series platform, code-named Gorgon Point, with configurations up to a Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with Radeon graphics. It features a 14-inch full HD Lumina OLED display, a 75 Wh battery and a chassis weighing 1.2 kilograms. The system is designed for efficiency and portability and delivers up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance, along with Wi-Fi 6E support.
The Intel version, the UX3405, maintains the same weight and battery capacity but upgrades to a sharper 3K 120-hertz OLED display. It is equipped with a next-generation Intel Core Ultra processor, code-named Panther Lake, paired with Intel Arc graphics and Wi-Fi 7. Both models offer distinct strengths, depending on whether users prefer an Intel- or AMD-based system.

The Zenbook A14 and A16 continue ASUS’ push into ultra-light devices, with next-generation Snapdragon processors powering both models and delivering up to 80 TOPS of neural processing unit performance. The A14 is the lightest in the lineup, weighing under one kilogram. It features a 14-inch full HD OLED display, a dual-fan cooling design and a 70 Wh battery, which ASUS says can deliver more than 28 hours of use.
The A16 follows a similar design approach but steps up to a larger 16-inch 3K 120-hertz OLED display and a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system. Despite the larger footprint, it weighs a still-compact 1.2 kilograms. Both models include Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, MIL-STD 810H durability certification, EasyLift hinges and smudge-resistant keycaps. Privacy features include Windows Passkey support, Microsoft Pluton security and an infrared webcam.

The Zenbook S14 and S16 round things out with their sleeker, premium design, as always. The 2026 Zenbook S series will be available in Scandinavian white and the new Antrim Gray colourways. The S14 will utilize the next‑gen Intel Core Ultra series processor (Panther Lake) with Intel graphics and features a 14‑inch 3K OLED HDR 120 Hz display in an ultra-portable 1.1 cm, 1.2 kg body.Â
The S16 switches to the next‑gen AMD Ryzen AI processor (Gorgon Point), and boasts a 16‑inch 3K OLED HDR panel, a six‑speaker Dolby Atmos setup, and an 83 Wh battery, all at only 1.5 kg. Both models offer up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance, quiet ambient cooling, the Zenbook’s signature geometric grille vents, and full Copilot+ PC support, making them strong choices for anyone who wants something sleek yet powerful.
CES 2026 saw many announcements from ASUS, not only over their Zenbook line, but also their ROG and TUF gaming lines, their ProArt line and even a special ROG Flow Z13-KJP Edition. Stay tuned to CGM for more CES 2026 announcements here.
