To mark the franchise’s 40th anniversary, Konami will release Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on consoles and PC this year. This 2D game was designed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin.
In a statement sent to The Verge, the Japanese publisher confirmed that this episode will focus on action and exploration. Konami also specified that it will not be a roguelike or roguelite either.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is expected to be released on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
