Carmageddon: Rogue Shift has been announced

After being teased rather unsubtly last month, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift was shown at length during the PC Gaming Show. The title from 34BigThings will be released in early 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.

This single-player kart combat game will plunge players into the year 2050, in a world filled with nightmarish creatures called the Decimated. They invade the roads after dark and force survivors to hide.

The developers have promised 15 upgradeable vehicles, 13 weapon classes, and over 80 perks to use. All this comes with dynamic weather, a day-night cycle, boss events, and an even more realistic visual damage system for cars. Finally, a roguelite campaign will keep us on the edge of our seats on a procedurally generated map.
