Capcom believes Resident Evil Requiem will be better optimized than Monster Hunter Wilds

Although Monster Hunter Wilds was a commercial success when it came out last February, its reputation was quickly tarnished by technical issues on PC. As a result, players fear that a similar phenomenon could occur with Resident Evil Requiem.

During a Q&A session following the announcement of its financial results, Capcom sought to reassure players by explaining that the ninth installment in the series is very different from the latest Monster Hunter game. It’s worth noting that both games use the RE Engine.

“Resident Evil Requiem differs from Monster Hunter Wilds in its gameplay, system architecture, and online features.*

At this time, we do not anticipate similar risks. We are developing the game to provide a smooth gaming experience across a wide range of PC configurations.”
