Can you save a Japanese schoolgirl’s soul in UN:Me?

Historia has announced UN:Me, a new horror game in which you have to try to save the soul of Japanese schoolgirl by enduring her nightmares. The problem? She’s got multiple personalities and multiple souls, but only one of them is her real one…

You’ll bounce back and forth between the nightmares of each soul, exploring different themes within the labyrinth that she finds herself in, and try to whittle them down. But, what if you delete the wrong soul?

Here’s some blurb from Steam:

A girl awakens in a mysterious labyrinth.

Four voices echo within her mind.

They are human “souls” drifting through this maze.

Each of the four souls seeks to fulfill their own desires, attempting to seize control of the girl’s body and act on their own will.

What are these four souls, truly?

Who created this enigmatic labyrinth—and why?

Who is this girl?

Through dialogue with each soul and by overcoming their individual traumas, you’ll navigate deeper into the labyrinth.

The answers await those who persist…

Absolutely, it’s intriguing how the game draws on Japanese folklore, which often adds layers of depth to the horror experience. I’m curious to see how they incorporate traditional themes into the gameplay mechanics!
