Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 favors AMD RDNA 4 GPUs over NVIDIA GeForce ones

The recent beta version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has revealed some interesting details. This is particularly true for the PC version, which has shown inconsistent performance depending on the graphics card used.

According to an analysis by Computer Base, Treyarch’s FPS performs 31% better on a computer equipped with a Radeon RX 9070 XT than on one with an RTX 5070 Ti. This measurement was taken when the game was running at 1440p. Usually, however, NVIDIA’s GPU is 6-7% faster than AMD’s.

In this specific case, the RX 9070 XT achieves performance levels close to those of a GeForce RTX 5090, even though the NVIDIA GPU is supposed to be vastly superior. The RX 9070 XT also performs significantly better than the RTX 5080. Thus, AMD seems to have the advantage when it comes to Black Ops 7.
