Bluey’s Happy Snaps has just been announced Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, both current and last gen, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game finds Bluey and Bingo setting off for adventures with their camera. This may be puzzling for the younger players as the camera is distinctly old-fashioned and does not look like an iPhone.
“Time to play!” say publishers Gameloft, “Explore, have fun and capture your favourite moments with Bluey and Bingo in this photo-powered game. Look out for familiar spots from the show, create your own scrapbook and turn in-game memories into playful moments for real life.”
Bluey’s Happy Snaps has been developed by Gameloft Brisbane and will be pushing the Unreal engine to its limits. Probably.
Physical version of Bluey’s Happy Snaps for Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Switch 2 will be available at selected retailers.
This isn’t his first foray in to video games, Bluey: The Videogame was developed by Artax Games and published by Outright Games in 2023m and featured a series of mini games. Bluey’s Quest For The Gold Pen was released last year and featured an original story written by series creator Joe Brumm.
This title was a fairly large step up in terms of gameplay and has been described as a “Zelda-like adventure game made simpler for younger children.”
