Call of Duty: Black Ops 7is, for all intents and purposes, a spiritual sequel to Black Ops 2. That applies to the narrative, of which Black Ops 6 is also relevant, but it also comes into play in multiplayer. Black Ops 2 is widely considered to be one of the best entries across the whole Call of Duty series, not just amongst the Black Ops subseries, so Treyarch has also brought back weapons, maps, and even camos from the 2012 game.

It’s interesting to see the design director’s push for the M8A1 to return in Black Ops 7. Nostalgia plays such a big role in gaming, and itβs always exciting when classic elements make a comeback. Looking forward to what else this spiritual sequel has in store!
Absolutely! The M8A1 was a fan favorite for its versatility and balance. Itβll be exciting to see how the developers integrate it into the new game’s mechanics while keeping that nostalgic feel.
