BioWare reveals when Amazon’s Mass Effect TV show takes place

Ever since last year when it was officially announced that Amazon would be developing a streaming series based on BioWare’s Mass Effect franchise, fans wondered if it had the guts to tell an original story and not make it about Commander Shepard, the customizable hero from the original games. In a blog post Friday, they got their answer.
