Battlefield 6 offers players a variety of weapons to pick from in the primary, secondary, and gadget slots of their loadouts. While picking the best guns and weapons for your playstyle or chosen class is important, making sure that the weapon is kitted out with the right attachments is even more crucial. If you’re using default attachments or ones that decrease vital stats, then you’ll be placed at a disadvantage against an opponent using the same weapon with a keener eye for the details. Fortunately, Battlefield 6 gives you plenty of freedom to customize every weapon’s attachments to make it competitive for every situation you might come across.
Of course, this freedom also means you might have to make some tougher choices when it comes to crafting a loadout. You also have to figure out which weapons are better than others, so you can level them up quicker and get access to their stronger attachments.
All weapons have access to several attachment slots, and every attachment has a point value associated with it. You’re allowed to use 100 points worth of attachments on every loadout in Battlefield 6. This means you have to decide between using fewer, but stronger attachments with higher point values versus using more overall attachments on the loadout.
If you’re a little confused about the weapons and attachments in Battlefield 6 or you just want some dominant loadouts to quickly equip, you’re in the right spot. We’ll be listing the top five weapon loadouts to use in Battlefield 6, which will include all of the best attachments to equip on the premier weapons in the game.
PW5A3
If you haven’t tried out the Engineer class or the SMGs yet in Battlefield 6, you’ll want to change that. The SMGs are incredibly strong, and the PW5A3 is among the best of the bunch.
The PW5A3 can easily compete with assault rifles and carbines at long range, and it absolutely dominates at close range. With a fast rate of fire, high damage, and virtually no recoil with the right attachments, there’s an argument to be made for the PW5A3 as the best overall weapon in Battlefield 6.
Here’s the best loadout for the PW5A3:
- Muzzle: Compensated Brake
- Barrel: 225MM Factory
- Underbarrel: Ribbed Stubby
- Magazine: 30 RND Fast Mag
- Ammunition: Standard
- Scope: Mini Flex 1.00x
- Ergonomics: Mag Catch
- Right Accessory: 5MW Red Laser
SOR-556 MK2
Next up, we have one of the best assault rifles in Battlefield 6, the SOR-556 MK2. This is very reminiscent of the Scar in real life, and when equipped with the right attachments, it shreds through enemies at just about any range. The SOR-556 MK2 has essentially no recoil, even with no attachments, and features one of the best time-to-kills in Battlefield 6. However, its mobility is on the slower side, but we’ll fix that with some extra attachments.
Here’s the best loadout for the SOR-556 MK2:
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Barrel: 18″ US-LB Extended
- Underbarrel: Ribbed Stubby
- Magazine: 40 RND
- Ammunition: Standard
- Scope: 3VZR 1.75x
L110
The L110 has quickly become notorious in Battlefield 6. It’s the default machine gun, so everyone has it unlocked, and the weapon is extremely overpowered. The L110 features incredible recoil control, damage range, and even halfway decent mobility for a gun of its size. You’ll be able to mow down just about any enemy that crosses paths with you as long as you can hit your initial shots.
Here’s the best loadout for the L110:
- Muzzle: Double-Port Brake
- Barrel: 465MM LB Heavy Extended
- Underbarrel: Ribbed Stubby
- Magazine: 100 RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Hollow Point
- Right Accessory: 120 MW Blue
- Scope: R4T 2.00x
M4A1
The M4A1 is the only carbine we’re including on this list. Compared to traditional assault rifles, carbines are more effective at close to mid-range rather than long-range. So, if you opt to go with the M4A1 or another carbine, playing Domination or Breakthrough on a more close-quarters map is going to give you the best results.
However, the best part about the M4A1 is that it can basically be used as a regular assault rifle with the right attachments. It’s similar to the NVO-228E in that it has a faster fire rate with higher recoil. As long as you know how to manage its recoil, though, you can delete enemies from the map in the blink of an eye. Playing on a smaller map/mode will still yield the best results with the M4A1, but you won’t be at a disadvantage if you hop into Conquest either.
Here’s the best loadout for the M4A1:
- Muzzle: Compensated Brake
- Barrel: 14.5″ Carbine
- Underbarrel: 6H64 Vertical
- Magazine: 36RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Hollow Point
- Scope: RO-M 1.75x
M2010 ESR
And finally, wrapping up the list, is the M2010 ESR sniper rifle. This is a weapon that everyone will either love or hate using. By default, the M2010 ESR has pretty abysmal damage unless you’re only hitting headshots. You’ll often find that a body shot will only deal around 64-80 damage to an enemy, meaning you either need to hit them twice with the sniper or bring out your secondary to finish the job.
However, after you level up the M2010 ESR and equip some better attachments, it becomes easier to use. You’ll also want to take advantage of the Recon class with the sniper, as this allows you to unlock the “Kill Confirmed” level two Field Spec during a match. This makes it so headshots with a sniper are fatal, meaning enemies can’t be revived. As long as you can hit some headshots and be accurate with the M2010 ESR, it becomes one of the most dominant weapons in Battlefield 6 (even before you earn the Kill Confirmed Field Spec during a match).
Here’s the best loadout for the M2010 ESR:
- Muzzle: Flash Hider
- Barrel: 24″ Full Basic
- Underbarrel: Full Angled
- Magazine: 5RND Magazine
- Ammunition: Standard
- Ergonomics: DLC Bolt
- Scope: S-VPS 6.00x
- Optic Accessory: Anti-Glare Coating
- Left Accessory: Range Finder
