During the Xbox Partner Preview, IO Interactive revealed who the next elusive target will be in its hit stealth action game, Hitman: World of Assassination. The popular title has brought famous celebrities to the game before, including Bruce Lee, Sean Bean, and Mads Mikkelsen. However, this one is arguably the most shocking collaboration the game has seen yet.
Hitman: World of Assassination’s next elusive target is Slim Shady
The next elusive target in Hitman: World of Assassination is Slim Shady, the “unhinged” alter-ego of the award-winning and influential hip-hop artist, Eminem. Similar to the recent Bruce Lee mission, Agent 47 will team up with Eminem to take out Slim Shady. The mission will be filled with references to Eminem, including a poisoned Spaghetti Sandwich and a performance of the song “Houdini.”
Here’s a description of the mission, as well as the trailer for the upcoming Hitman: World of Assassination elusive target:
“The level is packed with psychological, dreamlike twists that mirror Slim Shady’s fractured reality. Set within a medical facility in Hokkaido that has been reconfigured into the chaotic Popsomp Hills Asylum, the mission follows Agent 47 as he infiltrates a surreal environment where doctors, patients, and performers blur into one. Slim Shady has transformed his former operating theatre into a fully equipped broadcasting studio, where he delivers erratic live performances to a captive audience of staff and inmates. Players must track him across several interconnected areas, for example, a recording studio or a bizarre ‘Group Training Session’ where he brainwashes the doctors to participate in his evil scheme of weaponizing music.”
The elusive target mission in Hitman: World of Assassination featuring Eminem will be available for free throughout the entire month of December. Additionally, an Eminem vs. Slim Shady Pack will be available to purchase for $4.99. It includes a new suit, four items, and home base cosmetics.
