EA shutting down several PS3, PS4 games four months earlier than originally announced
According to last week’s notice on EA’s website, the following Codemasters games were scheduled to shut down on March 16, 2026:
The notice has since been quietly updated, with a new shutdown date of November 8, 2025 — a whopping four months earlier than expected.
We’re not sure if the original notice had an error or if EA changed its mind, but players now have less than two months to obtain Platinum trophies. However, 100% completion is out of question because all the DLC required for full completion has been delisted.
Those who own PS4 versions of the above games can play them on PS5 via backwards compatibility. Except for Dirt Showdown, all games were given away for free as part of PS Plus monthly lineups in the past.
There’s currently no indication that any of these games will be delisted from the PS Store.
