
An adorable Konami PS4 game is shutting down in early 2026 and will be delisted on all platforms soon. WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros attracted “millions” of players, according to the publisher, and even boasts appearances on the HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 and Olympic Esports stages.

WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros will be removed from the PS Store and Nintendo eShop on January 30. Online services will close down on March 31.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to all players who supported and enjoyed the game since its launch in February 2023,” Konami wrote, adding that players’ “passion, creativity, and competitive spirit have shaped an enthusiastic global community and helped elevate WBSC’s commitment to eSports to a new level.”
Konami has reassured fans that WBSC’s eSports journey will continue with WBSC eBaseball Series 2.0.
Do note that WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros does offer offline play, allowing fans to play against their friends in the offline Versus mode. The game doesn’t have a PS5 version but is playable on the current-gen console.
WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros comes with only 16 trophies, which don’t include a Platinum trophy. Players will need to act fast for 100% completion.
