We have got new details about the events that led to the cancellation of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Insider Tom Henderson has revealed what happened.
He stated that last November, Ubisoft was planning to release the game on January 16, 2026. Due to the data leaks that are still affecting the French publisher, Henderson said he had been unable to obtain any information recently.
However, he learned this week that a delay until the end of March 2026 had been decided in December in order to add some finishing touches. Ultimately, the remake was simply canceled.
