Battlefield: RedSec Celebrates Launch With High Octane, Destruction-Packed Trailer

Battlefield 6 is certainly raking it in but Battlefield: RedSec is seemingly slated to become the next big thing for Electronic Arts. The free-to-play battle royale title is out now for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with an incredibly hype launch trailer. Check it out below.

Unfolding on a brand new Californian map, players drop in as squads and attempt to plunder the secrets hidden within Fort Lyndon. Plot twist (or not, if you’ve played other battle royales): Other squads are trying to stop you.

Even with the utterly massive scale for destruction – which Battlefield 6’s multiplayer has seemingly been missing – the base game’s tenets still apply. You can choose a Class, as showcased with the Support dragging away and reviving a fallen ally. There are vehicles, from tanks to helicopters and, more humorously, a golf cart.

However, players can look forward to so much more, from a ring that kills you instantly to Gauntlet, described as a “cutthroat, knockout-style elimination mode where squads race to complete missions.” If that wasn’t enough, RedSec players can access Portal for free to produce some truly zany creations (golf cart racing in the skies, anyone?).

We’ll have more details on Battlefield: RedSec shortly, so stay tuned and read our review of the base game here.
