There are only three days left until the release of Battlefield 6. The developers wanted to give a quick update on the information gathered during more than 30 gaming sessions organized via Battlefield Labs.
The data collected from over 92 million hours played during the open beta will be used to make various improvements. The day one patch will bring over 200 changes. Movement will be more responsive, recoil on automatic weapons will be rebalanced, and additional optimizations will be made to the battle royale mode, Firestorm.
In addition, the development team has taken note of various requests made by players. In particular, players have asked for the addition of naval battles.
“There’s still a lot to look forward to beyond our Seasons, as our team continues to study Battlefield Labs data, player feedback, and come up with brand new ideas for the future. Starting with an exciting new version of Battle Royale for Battlefield.
Furthermore, requests for naval battles have not gone unnoticed, nor have requests for a certain small helicopter that is a fan favorite.”
As for the helicopter, EA is clearly referring to the MH-6 Little Bird, which could be added to Battlefield 6 at a later date, alongside the famous naval battles.
