Bandai Namco is set to undergo significant internal changes. Bandai Namco Holdings has announced its intention to restructure its divisions, including the one dedicated to video games.
New management and department heads will be appointed across the company’s various groups. Several divisions will also be renamed. It should be noted that Sony has also agreed, as part of a strategic agreement, to purchase 16 million shares in the company for approximately $464.5 million. The Japanese giant will therefore hold 2.5% of Bandai Namco’s total capital.
Finally, on April 1, Nintendo will take over Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, which will then become Nintendo Singapore.
